I need Help with my jtag.I took of the qsb for the jtag section because they got burned up by the soldering iron.So i tried installing diodes and a jumper but i keep getting E79 error.I am using 30 gauge wraping wire with N4148 diodes and a 40 watt soldering iron with QSB for nand and am using the NAND-X.

First I was like hmmm soldering is ok kinda chunky, E79 error was probably because the wires were too long.
Then I was like what is that rock on the board, *looked at the next picture* WTFFF!!??
As Xecuter said " looks like a moonstone fell on the xbox 360"
Lolz sorry if I was being too mean but I had to say it :D
So the E79 error was probably cause by the soldering and also the wires might be too long.
Edit: Also looks like the solder is connecting two points D:

i checked and its not connected to another point and does it really matter on the length of the cable?

Just to be on the safe side, you should probably clean it up ( desolder the points) add flux and re solder them this time try not to add to much solder. And, yes the length of the wire does matter, if the wires are too long the xbox 360 has random E79 errors.

could it be the diodes.

I am pretty sure that you have an exploitable console, but I still have to ask, what is your CB version ?

not trying to be too mean, but your soldering is sh*t. clean it up, i saw your other post and the place where the jumper wire and the other 2 wires are, it is a bridged by a peice of solder, u gotta clean it up

sorry m8, gotta say it "you should have gone to spec savers !" does need cleaning up, and dont bare so much wire just a little at the end. id be worried that would touch something and cause a short, or worse !

u could use the diodes on the QSB, but i doubt ud be able to solder wires direct to the diodes..
