SAMSUNG MS25 E64 Error dash update

Hello,

I have a problem, when i try to update the dashboard (current: 2.09199.0) to the new dashboard i get E64 error orginal the Xbox had a Samsung MS25 Drive but replaced it with a Hitachi GDR-3120L Drive is this the problem? do i need a samsung drive?

Yes the Hitachi is the problem, get a Samsung drive.
This is because dashboard 2.0.13146.0 re-flashed drives with a new stock firmware to support XGD3.

Also spoofing is no longer supported.

I don't think you can find ms25s, best bet would be to get a ms28.

only diffrences between ms25 and ms28 is FW, there is no HW diff. so it dosen't matter witch one you get.

Nice, i updated the dashboard with a spoofed hitachi drive some 1 need a tutorial for this? the only problem i have is the hitachi 46 has no lt2.0+.. cant play xgd3 still lol
