I have e71 on my Demon and I was doing some research and I think it's from remapped blocks on my hacked image...also I wanted to ask is it okay to have dash 14699 on my stock image and 16203 on my hacked image? Or should they both be the same? How do I go about unmapping my nand image as I'm only used to using JRUNNER and that remaps it automatically. Do I need to use Nandpro or something similar?

try flashing stock to demon and undsoldering 3.3v on coolrunner. see if it boots

Then its a fail. Demon may be shot. The guide does say not so switch to pc doesnt it?

I forgot to switch it. well time to try again, that's 3 I ruined so far, Xecuter loves me I keep them in business from buying all of their demons

I would have probably given up after the first fcuk up to be honest.
The card you get with the DemoN should have been the first thing you read before reading any installation guide.
yea I actually did read the warning and I knew about it and still left the switch on, I was only thinking about seeing it work and got tunnel vision and forgot to be mindful...well the fourth time's the charm.
I just ordered another demon and I'll be sure not to screw this one up...plus I learned a nice trick for soldering the little pads, it's to use leaded solder as it melts faster and is a lot easier to move around and flick it up so you get a nice blob up on top of the pads on the demon.
And now to go screw up an RJTAG install.

I really don't think you're in a position to be giving ANY advice. Your comments on solder tell me what I already knew.
I know the whole 'you learn by mistakes' seems rife here, but you are taking it to a whole new level.

I dunno, from what I've seen the reball would be the most skill required of the mods.
I use off the shelf radio shack equipment and no 360 experience had no problem with installing a demon.
It's like a doctor that can do heart transplants but can't draw blood.
