JTAG E74 with dvd drive connected.

I'm not clued up on jtags and have a problem,
If I start with the dvd drive connected I get E74 and fast fan speed, if I start without the drive connected it boots to the blue jtag screen and the fans are at normal speed.
It's a xenon board, hitachi drive.

I have another jtag that boots to the normal xbox screen with the drive disconnected, this is a falcon board so don't know if that makes a difference.

Was it working fine before and it just suddenly started giving you that error or have you done anything to it before hand?

Yes it's had work to the gpu, think that's the problem just stange it boots to the jtag screen without the drive.

after a bit of reaserch discovered e74 will boot to xell fine so in future all testing will be done booting to dashboard bring the board back and the chip will go in the bin as another duff one I know this for a fact as i have reballed a e74 chip and put on another board and still got e74 again.
from now on all e74 chips are getting what i call the snip i cut a corner off them so i dont use them again or bin them and use another.
