Im not sure if I am misunderstanding what Game_Over said but is there a way for me flash the xbox to "stock" (firmware?), then unsolder the added hardware, basically giving me a second chance to use my brain instead of rushing from anticipation?

@Menethoran:
I have enough to ship but not to pay for someone to fix it. Buying my rework station kind of took away my spending money for the week. When I said reflowing station what i meant was BGA Rework station. I was originally going to order it for my PC but i was told by, what is now seeming to be a source that is as incorrect as I am, that if i get it I can use it for repairing some xbox RRoD errors (he is the person who told me it was a "reflowing station" so i just went with it because I didnt know better).

Note:
After seeing what skillet34 said about the original nanddump being in a different location I went looking in my recycle bin and saw that my earliest deletion was January 2013 and my first nanddump.bin was done sometime in August 2012 and then I remembered that I upgraded to Windows 7 and did a complete factory reset as well on December 2012. So the original nanddump is gone.

Game over was telling you what folder to look in on your pc for the nanddump. There is still a small chance even with the os change it is still there. When you install 7 on a pc it puts your old files from the previous os in a folder called windows old. use the search feature to look for this or just type nanddump, search and hope it finds it. If you deleted this folder then yes it is gone forever and I would send it out.

the easiest thing to do is flash XBR to console to boot xell

the E-79 error is your install and that jumper missing in my experience the easiest solution to get rid of e-79 is get rid of the top QSB with the Switch and use the 2 diode method (Boxxdr method - google it under images) on the bottom of the main board

You can just write the <console type>.bin xell file to your console without a keyvault. It would do the same thing and less destructive than XBR.

The best way to cure E79 is to solder it properly and understanding the basic wiring of a JTAG, which is laid across numerous pages on the web.
