hi there. i used the rest glitch hack to get the dvd key from a dead falcon board today. once i got the cpu and dvd key i removed the RGH C-MOD board and reflashed the stock nand. now i get e79. what have i done?

What program did you use to flash the nand? Did you reset your smc back to standard in your nand program ie Jtag Tool.
Did the nand have any bad blocks?

NAND didn't have any bad blocks and I didn't realise I had to set my smc back. I just flashed it with nandpro20b and a homemade lpt cable. Can't get it to turn on now. Think I might have shorted something when I plugged the power in.

I'm guessing you tried disconnecting the power from your console for a short while after re-flashing the original NAND and then powering up?
Yeah man tried that. Gutted it won't turn on now. Any ideas on what could short when you plug the power cable in?
The problem I have is that the xbox won't even power on now. I had e79 which is dashboard error. No I get no power at all. The power brick is ok and I had my lpt cable grounded so can't see how I shorted it.
yes i can still read and dump the nand with no issues. i get correct properties in nandpro. something that is bothering me, i cant get the nand dumps to open in degraded. ive tried changing the 2007 microsoft to 2005 and still nothing, both dumps matched exactly so my wiring is ok. ive jtagged quite a few consoles over the last few years and had no issues. but when i wrote the rgh to this it worked fine booted up in seconds. i have cpu and dvd key. can i encrypt another nand dump with my cpu key and flash that to it or should i erase it and try to re write my original

There basicely two possibilities here, either your original nand dumps were altered in someway that's providing when they were dumped they were %100 correct or the second is that you have a currept nand on board.

i could be wrong but i have heard of people rebuilding nands from a stock nand of their version mother board, i have seen a list with the nand original downloads and they probably have tools here to edit the nand

back on the subject guys, is there any way for me to rebuild my original nand. im gonna wire up my lpt cable now and try erasing and re writing it. i have had a look at the nandpro commands i used and have realised some are different. when i read the nand i used -r16 not -R16 and when i wrote it to get e79 i used +w16 not +W16. then i tried to write the SMC.bin generated by the bestpigs ecc glitch generator i used +W16 to write that, which is when my problems with it not powering on started. after this i tried writing my orig.bin with +w16 and +W16 and still no power 
. i know the jtag procedure but not sure what difference it makes with the different commands. can anyone elaborate and tell me if it makes any difference at all. also is anyone willing to have a look at my nand dumps to see if they are corrupted or wrong in anyway as i wouldnt have any idea what i was looking for.
