seems like your just trying to sell another TX product to me
I help people here day in day out also with the fastest and most stablest way without selling TX products as you stated and up the garden path means >> you sending him off rewiring boards for no reason when it was working fine before so less of it mate keep your remakes to yourself..

erm last time i checked this was a TX product support forum.

solution:

1. buy nand-x
2. rewrite nand
3. create new freeboot image using correct points this time
4. sorted.

youre making it harder for him than it needs to be.
no im telling him to first move the 2 wires boot flash with correct bin than move back he dosent need a NAND-X just move 2 wires so it loads up reflash the bin with the correct solder points and move back

ya this a TX support site but what your trying to do is sell some one a new car because there spark plugs need to be changed dont get me wrong i like TX products and all, but 2 solder points VS. the 7 it takes to install a NAND-X id move 2 wires any day of the week first just move them back after he corrected his issue

tho i will admit he does need some way to read write his NAND in case he comes across some situation where it isent as easy as moving 2 wires and reflashing
