Why is the nand X connected to marked below...

Am i wrong in saying it only needs two wires to be connected to the green socket J2B1 point the white 3 pin goes to the J1D2 3 pin socket i'm not on front of one atm but i think thats right lol..

Thats what I thought when I saw the first image...I didn't bother replying incase it was an alternate point if the other pads were messed up
