e79 after xell first timer help !

hi all !
im on my first jtag and got 2 identical dumps from nand so proceded to xell and after xell i got e79 ?
i soldered the wires from pin headers directly to the board i had qsb for jtag but messed up the one with the blue and yellow wires so i soldered them straight on ! is this where my problem lies ? ive got my origional dumps and 2 dumps after which are dump 3 and dump four after xell was wrote and they are different from my origional dumps but are the same as eachother i need to know how to flash back my origional nand so i dont mess up ! or anyone any ideas on whats wrong ? i will include sum photos of my soldering ! any feedback would be much appreciated i love this site ! im using the nand -x
please dont go too hard on me im only on my 1st one and cant wait to get it going for me and my son cheers

the blue wire looks dodgy on the jtag but there was solder in the hole and i soldered the wire to it so i looks slightly out of place

to write back your original nand click write bin in jtag tool and select youir original nand image. i doubt what youve done will work mate, as youve fooked the qsb id remove both and go direct wire using 1n4148 diodes. have you tried the other resistor settings on the jtag qsb?

can i use the no xenon wires that came with the nand -x with the diods on it ?

i would redo the soldering and do not solder to the top of the board.

1 tin the end of the wires to make them stiffer(or use solid wire instead of braided)
2 use plenty of flux and heat up the tinned wire and push it through the hole you want to solder to
then i would retry xell
and to flash original back just flash it back

yes mate. solder them so the diodes are closest to j1f1 and follow this pic, do not forget the jumper wire.

No...hence called the non-Xenon QSB...

wrond MaK, you can use the non xenon WIRES as they work the same as the 1n4148 diodes and have used that myself on my jtag. of course hed have to remove the other jtag qsb and cut the end off the wires and direct wire to the points.

I actually thought that we were talking about QSBs and not wires....

flashed back origional nand and it boots ok ! but when i write xell it does the same e79 !! i soldered the way its shown in flash 360s pic!!!!! il put a pic up !

if you are using jtag tool to flash xell check make sure alt-smc points is not checked
