Ok First time Jtaging and first time using tools so decided to go with Jtag tool.
Falcon board Exploitable (well if I ever get the CPU Key)
Nand X QSBs installed and loads of good Nand dumps (All matching perfect).
This is how I got to this stage.
Installed NandX Nand part only then read nands several times and matched them, perfection.
Next installed Jtag. manage to pull diode off of DB1F1 after getting it to sit first time. Then tried to solder it again but unsuccessful second time round. ended up one big mess and now can not see anything that looks remotely metallic to solder too.
Gave up on DB1F1 in installed both diodes under the board. This went well I think, seems to check out with meter but not sure of any tolerances so still could be wrong.
Ran Jtag tool read nand and then write xell, unpluged nandX, fired up xbox and got E79 error with one red led bottom left. tried all resistor and jumper setting same error but random rrods
Could it be that I have screwed up my board at DB1F!? (I cleaned it up and nothing is bridging but as I said no metallic in middle)
Could it be that the yellow diode wire is too long. (Was cut from nandx original qsb wires so is infact shorter than what nandx wires where originally)
I can recover the nand to original and all works fine but cant get it to write xell and show me the CPU Key.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
one more thing.... in alt diode tut it had a note giving instructions on a third bridge wire. I didnt install this as I believed it to be an instuction for xeon board. Is this correct?
