so is there anything i could do without the KV, and all that info? because i have no info on it at all, all i have is the cpu key and the dvd key, nothing else. the guy bought the xbox off of someone else and he cant get in contact with him. so is there anything i can do?

Let me get this straight, from now on, you don't ask any silly questions. OK? You just do what you're told to do. OK? J2G has been trying to help you, but seems like you don't even know what a Jtag is, or how it works.

So, from now on, you do what I tell you to. Understood?

OK then, lets start. It doesn't matter if you have the Keys or not, the original image or not. What you have to do now, is to remove the wires, and solder the NAND and Jtag QSBs to the board. Also, protect the efuses by removing R6T3 or using the alternate bridge method. Once you do this, reply back.

alright no more stupid questions. i already removed the wires and put the nand x gsb jtag on there. i didnt have any nand qsb's so i used the pin headers. and i just bridged the 2 alternate solder points.

^ Good. Now dump the NAND and keep on doing it until you get 3 matching dumps. Then open one of them in 360 Flash Dump Tool and use the CPU Key you have to decrypt the information in the KV. If everything goes fine till here, reply back here.

im thinking i have a faulty nand x, iv tried different usb cables, different computers and different usb ports and still nothing. so im going to see if i can swap it. unless you guys have any other ideas. ill get it on monday so, ill do what m azeem k said and ill reply back

^ When connected, the NAND-X should have 2 lights turned on i.e. Red and Yellow. If the Yellow one isn't turning on, then you should get the NAND-X exchanged for a working one.

alright, i just got my new nand x, and both leds light up. i hooked everything up and tried reading my nand with jtag tool and it wouldnt work, it just said action cant be performed or something like that, i tried nand pro, but it would start up.

^ You do know how to use NandPro, right?

As for Jtag Tool, make sure you run it in Administrator Mode, otherwise it won't work.

^ Weird. Don't you have another PC/Laptop you can try running Jtag Tool on? I would be better if it was on WinXP.

So, you know how to use NandPro manually?

ya it does the same thing for both compters, both have windows 7, i dont know how to use nand pro manually, i never used it,

^ Have you tried to redownload and reinstall it? Because I also have Win7 x64 and its working fine for me.

As for using NandPro, have a look in HERE. You should get an idea on how to use it. Alternatively, you can also have a look at the software section of THIS tutorial to get an idea of how to use NandPro.
