i have the EXACT same problem, except i dont have the original nand, i have a nand that will boot the xbox logo for 2 seconds, then get E79 1 red light error 1033. and then, if i try to make my original nand from a donor nand, i get that christmas lights. i have a xenon with a CB of 1921 also. and last, i followed this, and still get rrod. http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=15694.0

What are you using to jtag it?
Have you used the nand-x wiring or jtag wires?
Check your diodes are facing the right way.

ye, i do not have nand x though. and they are facing the right way, i even replaced them.
you should post some pics of your soldering....did you add your jumper...and if so , ara you bridging the right ones?..
i dont need to supply a pic, im a great solderer, there is nothing wrong with it, if there was, Xell wouldnt boot
whats the E79 error about as its 99% bad solderin,an after all your asking for help

With the donor NAND which KV are you using original board KV or a different one? I somehow suspect that the KV is the cause of this here!!!!
i suspect that too, but i even used a banned KV (3 of them) and still, christmas lights, and i thought that only happens on HDMI consoles
can you give some details about the console it self you bought it used got it from a friend little history of the box
ok, i did a trade for a broken xenon for a zephyr. and a lil bit of cash... so, he said it gets boots the xbox logo for 2 seconds, then gets 1 red light with an error code of 1033. when i got it, i looked at it and tried it. rrod. i tried Xellous, worked perfectly. no rrod. so i then dumped the nand, and it was a 9199 dash (freeBOOT). ok so i decided to use a donor nand and flash the KV and config in to it, didnt work, i got no video/audio/1 green light lit. so i decided to do this: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=15694.0
i sed the xenon. and i did all the stuff, and got green lights on the top, and red lights on the bottom, and they switched back and forth. thats it.
ok can you open the freeboot 9199 image with the boxs cpu key that you get from booting xell in flash 360? without it saying bad kv

now u must think, well y didnt u try this before. all i did was inject the KV and config from the rrod nand (bad nand) into an XBR nand. and it worked, now i just made freeboot with XBR to freeboot by JJMPS. i will post back my results
