Hi guys
today I'm making the first RGH for corona 16mb. I started with dumping the nands, and got two same nands, soldered the coolrunner 3, but the console is not glitching at all, tried different settings but no use, then I decided to write the original nand again, the xbox boots fine, but when I wrote the ecc file it took only 11 seconds as you can see in the log below, so does it have anything to do with the glitching,? is there something wrong with the ecc file?

* unpacking flash image, ....
ECC'ed - will unecc.

look man, I know how to solder, my big Q was,
the ecc file was written in 11 seconds, is every thing fine with the ecc file,? thats it
Use your head then.

Look at the size of the ECC file.

Look at the size of your nanddump1.bin.

It took approx 2:10 min to read nanddump1.bin. It's 16,896kb.

The ECC file is 1,320kb.

2:10 min = 130 secs
(130 / 16896) * 1320 = 10.15 secs.

There - zero knowledge needed apart from basic maths and common sense.

It's AMAZING what you can achieve if you decide to think before posting.

ok, I'm sorry coz I can't provide pics right now, but this is not my first rgh console, and I'm good in soldering, the problem is that the crystal does not make any noise and there is NO green light at all, I know that corona doesn't boot into Xell on screen, here are my settings
LK1 open
LK2 closed
LK3 opened/closed
LK4 1_2 tried both closed and open
LK4 2_3 tried both closed and open
S2 switch tried 1_5 on, 1_6 on, 1_7, and finally 1 only
for the D point I used the blue wire that came with the REV C, tried different sizes but no use, any idea?

Pictures solve about 90% of the problems. Someone with 133 posts should get this by now. You had your original answered and if the green light is not blinking then I hate to say it but its likely your soldering.

No green debug light is for sure a soldering issue, if I got laid everytime someone claimed to be "an expert solderer with 10 years in the field" who then had pictures dragged out of them to find their soldering was dogshit, I'd be giving hugh heffner a run for his money. Pics are needed otherwise its a pointless excercise, it's in the rules as well btw.

100% spot on. i was having diffs yesterday ive done stacks of rgh yet was stumped. i had a feeling it was something stupid but i stuck up the pics anyway.

needless to say the soldering was awesome as usual lol however the yellow wire was awesomely soldered to the pad beside the one it was supposed to be soldered to lol.

i had somehow missed it probably because it was too obvious and i was looking for probs that just werent there as it was my first cr3 lite but as soon as i put the pics up it was spotted straight away.

get the pics up
