RGH education for firmwares

Hello my fellow xbox modders and players!

My name is Adam aka iconbadgta and I am looking to go all out on getting my xbox rghd so I can have some fun finally again!

About a year ago I had a black matte 4gb xbox I believe to have been a corona v.2 or 1.... I loved that xbox.. I bought it as a 4gb then a week later I got the internal 250gb upgrade kit.

Well needless to say I started play8ng online and using it quite frequently until the wife started complaining and I ended up selling it.

Well this christmas I got a new 99 buck corona v.6 I think. Its the 4gb 1 round plugin console.. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper!

I can't copy saved games from my xbox to usb stick to take to friends houses and play, I cant even save a music playlist for gods sakes! So that kills out custom playlists for games etc.

I don't understand why or what microsoft did to the new xboxs... customer support is clueless on why I cant do simple things believe it or not so I figure if I want to be happy then a rghd console is what I got to have!

Heres what I am after... please feel free to let me know how much these thins will cost me with a pro doing it... I am planning on having nofeloniesyet do the console work, im just wondering what would best suit my needs by what I am after.

Here goes.

Ability to play games without disc

Ability to play games I have backed up that are mine I have backed up..

Ability to play modded games

Ability to use emulators like mame

Ability to copy game save to and from consoles

Ability to plan online.. dual nand I think?

Ability to copy songs from usb to harddrive for games.

I saw a program that allowed the control of the fans for extra cooling etc.. id like to have that option as well as some cool upgrades like the sound deal when you turn it on or off etc.

I figure these mods will cost me a pretty penny but its worth it for me to be happy with the console.

All that you mention is attainable. You will just require a larger hdd than your 4 gig. Since you already own the console why not learn and do the rgh yourself. All the guides and such are all here or youtube.

Yeah I probably could do it but I am afraid I will botch the soldering job up or run into a problem during the glitch process that will mess something up.

I plan to buy a 250gb or bigger internal hd for it before I send it to get modded. Just trying to see what kind of estimate it will cost and indeed that what I want can be done.

Yep, id rather leave the soldering to a pro for now....

Your wife made u sell u'r xbox? dude. My missus bought me an R-Jtag chip for my birthday. Where are u based? put a request for service in the service section and one of the pros will sort u out. Good luck.

No..... She didn't make me sell it she just whined and complained everytime I would even turn it on so I just said the hell with it and sold it.

She has felt bad over it ever since so she doesnt say anything and actually tells me if I want to play it to go ahead and she will watch tv in another room or something.

I sent a email to nofelonies yet aka greensboropc and havent heard anything yet but im sure he probably is just real busy with stuff..

I wouldnt mind just trading my console and some boot for a matte black trinity or corona with the big on off button that you could wave ya hand infront of like I had.. It probably would save time and eliminate the sound fix I want also.

Man I miss my original xbox..

I dunno.. I will post and see whats available like you suggested bro.
