Eeprom corruption

I recently installed a Xecuter 3 chip (Bios 1959_v16plus) into my v1.6 XBox. After the installation eerything was working properly, and I managed to backup the original drive (admin,C,E). After replacing the HDD and formatting I copied all the files back to the new drive. This all worked fine, but in my ultimate wisdom I also tried "copy eeprom from X3 to HDD" under teh Config Live menus. Now all that happens on the drive is it briefly boots, flashes orange light, then shuts off. I have tried numerous proceduers, including replacing the Chip with an alternate v2.6 and pulling all the HDD and DVD off the system. All result in the same problem. I noticed that if I play with the memory banks that on some (the ones that contain the Bios I loaded), no video is apparent but I can hear the first 1-2 seconds of the post screen (big xbox logo with sound screen). On the chip both lights are lit. Since the system was working intially I am doubtful that the soldering is the issue, but think that along this procedure I cleared the onboard eeprom. Is this possible, an if so is there a method to reprogram? If this may be a soldering issue could someone suggest what pins would cause such an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried both my Advanced pack, and the default (composite+stereo based) AV pack. They both have the same results. As mentioned above, when I use a memory bank that has the Bios I can hear a small 1-2 second portion of the opening post screen. The video is not there, but audio plays briefly.
