Eject Button doesn't open DVD tray anymore.

I'm Running XBMC Dash and want to RIP CDs but I can't figure out how to open the DVD tray. XBMC doesn't open it for you like DVD2XBOX. After installing my X3 the Eject button now shutsdowns my XBOX. Is that's what it's supposed to do? As far as I can tell, everything else is working properly. I've searched for days trying to find an answer but haven't had any luck.

Anyone got any ideas?

Enter in X3Live Config (press the white button when the box boot up) to disable the option called "Reset on eject" or something like that, that enables the features to reset your box when you press the eject button, so you must to disable this function.

can you disable the x3 chip by pressing and holding the power button? If not you probably have a bad power/eject board. I had the same problem. Actually, i'm still waiting for a replacement board from my shady retailer 2 months after I bought the chip.

Yeah - I can't reboot with it disabled by holding down the power button.
I bought my chip from an Official Xecuter Store - whatever that means.

Is it possible I screwed something up with the install? I swear the disabled boot worked when I first try it out a couple of weeks ago.

How do you go about ordering a power/eject board?

try removing the power/eject board and see if the eject button works now. if it does, they you too have one of the bad power/eject boards. Welcome to the party.

83850C V2 with LT, constant drive spinning?

Hi all,

I have my liteon 8 series V2 flashed with LT. What i've noticed is that when I insert a disc at the dash, it spins up and reads the game, then it slow down (but keeps spinning).

Even if i leave a game in there, or install it to the hard drive, the disc is always spinning at this slow speed. It's not that I can hear it, but I just noticed with the vibration when I was playing a game that was installed to the HD that the disc was still spinning. This does not happen on my sammy MS28 drive.

Anyone else can confirm this? Or did i fudge up my flashing somehow.

Okay this is weird.

I can confirm that when my ipod is plugged in, that I can recreate this.

Otherwise. All I did was unplug my ipod and power cycled my box and it is no longer doing this.
