Ive just installed my x3 on a 1.4 and flashed with x3 config live 1959(FTP'ed it over,..Awsome feature). no prob,... but when I hold just the power button to disable mod the x3 logo is red for half a sec. then turns purple and loads my flashBIOS backup. it also does this if I just hold the eject button too! and also loads with power and eject pressed together(like it's suposed to). So I went to the bios and disabled the mod there, and it rebooted with the x3 logo red and chip is finally off ,...YES!,...so I cant disable the mod with the power switch ,.. I can live with that... but if I hit the eject button the box resets! no matter if the chip is On or Off. So I went to the BIOS and changed the NO reset On eject option, and it still resets,... In fact I cannot open the dvd tray unless I enter flashBIOS to eject the tray to CD flash the BIOS!!! Ive installed about a dozen mods(alladin advance/live,Xenium Ice, SmartXX v2, on xboxes 1.0 to 1.6b with no problems at all! Ive even done 3 ram upgrades!) So I dont think ive got a bad install but i redid the D0 just to be sure and same thing! Any Ideas????
Eject button wont eject! cant disable mod!

sounds like something is up with the pwr\reset pcb. check the back of it and make sure there is no solder bridges or bent pins on the chip or the pcb board.
