Ejecting Problems

Hi, ive just installed a X3 into my 1.6b box. I am running X3 1959 bios and i have installed slayers evox. When i press the eject button it doesn't work, it has done before, but seems like it no longer wishes to. in Slayers Evo-x main menu, up the top where it say DVD Drive, when ever i press ejeect it changes from empty to ejecting but the drive never opens. I would really appreciate if someone could help me as i have spent 2 days trying to get this box to work!! my chip didnt have flashbios 3.03 on it so i had to softmod it and i am glad to get this far really, now i just wish i could put Halo 2 in and play!!

one problem it could have like mine is that you here it eject but it doesn't quite open, as it comes out push it and that will make it open

if not then make sure you installed the reset/eject adapter properly, even bent pins can cause problems

Nme 2.0 Modchip?

Just wondering if the NME chip from Team underdog actually does what it claims when they say
"- Firmware Stealth, if Firmware is checked it replies as 100% original.
- Optional: 100% Xbox Live secure when playing Backups"


So whilst Firmware hacking is always risky and prone to detection, this NME chip will allow you to have a modded console without the risk of a ban?

What's the real point of the NME chip?

that chip is almost 3yr's old and i've never seen any updates about it. as it's not needed due to soft modding.
