erasing all flash banks

i for some wrong reason get a grey screen and my xbox keep on rebooting when i try to use any ob the banks except one bank on on on on off which is funcional great
i need to know how to rest the rest of the banks and make them funcional and load the latest flash bios i have excuter 3 mod chip on a v1.6 xbox and a 200gb hdd

just hook to your pc , open an ftp program ( lets say flashfxp) log in the i p address of your box , username x3 password x3 and at the admin folder you can flash any bios you like to any bank you want .

where can i find the admin folder i looked for it on my xbox but i can't find it

did you connect to your box with FTP ?
if you are connected with your pc to the box with an ftp programe you should be able to see the admin folder

the problem, gixer, is that he can only connect if he has X3 config live ie. with X3 bios installed. With his current switch configuration to 256k bank, I doubt he even has X3 bios installed.

ibrahimshahin, configure your switch to [on on off off off] and see if you have flashbios 3.0.1. If not, press power + eject buttons at the same time until your x3 cp turns purple. This should bring up backup flashbios. Make sure to download X3 bios version 3029 and in your case, you need a file named X3 3029 v16plus.bin to flash.

problem is you need to install the X3 hacked bios first. Have you done that?

now, you need to boot up your xbox to x3 config live. To do so, you need to press power button and at the same time hold down on the white button on your controller. Once getting on X3 config live, you need to go to settings and then network and configure your ip if necessary. After that, you should be able to connect to your xbox with an FTP client on your computer using the ip that you configured and "x3" as your pw and username. You should then see the folder "admin".

On the otherhand, since you already successfully flash to X3 bios, why do you still need to look for the admin folder?

Edit: the admin folder is in your C partition.

no need to do that. You have installed X3 on banks 1234 if your switch is already on [on on off off off]. You still have 1mb memory left on banks 5678 [off on off off off] so you can do anything with it as you wish. You can just leave it as it is or flash it to another X3 bios if you want to.

i dont think you can reset the banks. if you want a different bios then just upload a different bios.

is it nrmal when your xbox is on and then then thing gets warm and the screen goes blank, the fan is at 100% and the led is flashing and then you can't shut it off for a while.

well its not normal try to update your bios 3029 it worrks withme great

boot the backup bios. then set ur switches on on off off off (for banks 1+2+3+4) the ngo 2 ur pc and put the bios on the hdd or open up the web flash by enabling network flashing on ur main screen. go 2 ur pc and type ur xbox's ip (deafult= 192.168.1.99) then select the bios from ur comp and flash it. this should work because i have done it this way many times.
