Hey there!

I am having a little trouble with my X3, or maybe not, that’s why I need help. This is about Flashing XECUTER.
Got an xbox 1.5, installed X3CE With new switches on front panel and LCD Screen, Everythin os installed ok and working until... I Try to flash it.
I have followed all the steps and got to the point where my box finishes flashing and turn itself off. Then when I come to turn it on, it comes up with either the flash screen again, or normal Xbox logo, the big “X” with Microsoft written underneath. What should happen here? Please help if you can, because as a noob I am officially crap.

Cheers!

either your getting a bad flash and try it over...or your bank settings are not right.. to flash the main bank switch them to on,on,off,off,off..and to flash the back up bank switch then to off,on,off,off,off..

I'm speculating but I suspect you either reinstalled flashbios or you installed it on the wrong bank. You need to download hacked X3 bios version 3029. Since you have xbox v1.5, you need to use X3 3029.bin once you extract the file. First set your switches to on on off off off, press power and eject button at the same time until your X3 cp turns purple. This should bring up backup bios (flashbios) and you can reflash with the mentioned bios.

The reason you get the MS dash is because your chip was disabled (your x3 cp turns red) thus it was booting to normal dash.

Edit: alternatively, you can switch to off on off off off and flash to banks 5678. Your flashbios v3.0.3 should be there.

Say I got everything working ok, what would happen when I tap the power button? How would I go about playing an "imported" game?

Would the switches need to be on or off? Also my LCD Screen is not doing anyhting!? Should it be woirking or do I need to alter any settings?
Thanks for all your help guys!

if you tap the power button, it should power up your console with your X3 enabled as indicated by the X3 cp turning blue. Just make sure not to hold it too long or else you will disable your chip.

I suggest you to go to Xbox-scene.com and look up how to play imported games.

your switches should be either on (on on off off if you had installed X3 bios onto banks 1234) or (off on off off if you installed it onto banks 5678)

LCD output is disabled by default. You need to go in X3 config live to enable it. to get to X3 config live, press power button and press on the white button on your controller until you see X3 config live on your TV screen
