well, i have a console with dashboard 12611 and its a xenon. I played it before, nothing wrong with it, played it today, had rrod, 1033. I knew that it was jtag wiring. I open it up, all wires look good. I resolder them, still rrod. I decided to reflow southbridge a couple of times with my Aoyue, still rrod. I then write the original nand to the xbox and it works! so i now know it has something to do with nand or jtag wiring... So i make new jtag wires, resolder them, still rrod. Im getting a little ticked off. I scan the area where the wires are for cut traces or bridged points, nothing. So what do i do? i can't seem to find anything! I've even tried flash XBR and still rrod. Please help. Im very experienced in jtagging so dont ask if the diodes are facing the right way cause they are ;)

i presume you have you tried making a new fb_12611 with your original nand or even try making fb_12625.
And you have tried replacing your hard drive because that can give you 1033 error also.

Details
Primary Error code: 1 RLOD
E-Code / Secondary Error code: E79 / 1033
Binary/Hex: 01001111 / 0x4F -> 79
Known fixes:
1) Replace your harddrive.
2) If you know it isnt the harddrive try the Southbridge X-Clamp Fix or Reflow the Southbridge
3) Check JTAG wiring! Especially the diodes they MUST face the correct direction - Away from J2D2.

Related Errors:
No Related Errors available!
Description:
This error occurs when your harddrive is defective, it might still work sometimes....
There is also a small chance that it is a cold joint under the Southbridge causing problems with the I/O of the HDD.
It can also be related to wiring the diodes while JTAGGING.
Couldn't start xam.xex

Make sure wiring isn't being shorted to the dvd-drive or something. Perhaps you should post a picture of your install just in case someone can spot something.

are there any alternates i can do for the xenon wires?
only from other diodes or resistors.
there is no alternate points as with post-xenon boards.
