Let me guess...a new HDD too.

This is because your xbox has lost it's time and wants to find an MS dashboard to set its clock..
if u put back the stock HDD is all ok??

If so set time and then rpelace HDD

Blinking blue? Are you talking about the Hard Drive light?

You are not missing anything. That just means that your chip is DISABLED (The X is RED) and the hard drive is working.

Ok U should really be in X3 Bios Flashing Support (you've moved on a level)

make your CD as it states here it has to be an ISO
http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/cd.htm

I don't like CD flashing as theres too many dependencies on media etc etc..can u flash or have u tried flashing via HTTP?

Did you use a CD-R or a CD-RW?

The XBOX doesn't like CD-R media (at least the ones that I own!)

Also, a NEW CD-RW seems to always work the best.

Like sb122606 said, the HTTP method is WAY better, but if you have to use a CD, make sure you use one that will work.

Hey ..good morning icecreamguys!!

dcvolki ...theres lots of posts on flashing via http but baically
configure you pc with a static ip address say 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0

plug xbox into pc using 'x' over cable and then boot cromwell...
select flash via network
it will time out and give a default address...type this address into your web browser and it should pop up a flash screen..
go from there..

i'm out now guys..good luck

best to get it networked...it will make it so much easier to add apps and dashboards..
also if u have broadband u can get benefits of playing net games by using xlink kai and get RSS news feeds on your dash..or even shoutcast radio!!

a way to go before that but all poss once networked

No question..

I sold an XBOX to someone yesterday that did not have a network option and I quickly remembered how much the network adds.

The RSS feeds are great and if you are using XBMC you get song titles / cd names etc. when playing your audio CDs.

The Shoutcast radio is nice too..

Really should try and network it at some point.
