error 16

Hello

I have a 1.6version and my problem is this....

My psu had to changed("blew up"), so when i put my new psu right where it belongs, and turn it on, the xbox give me the error 16.

Please someone could give a clue about what to do in this situation?

Did you do anything to your hard drive?

No, i didnt do nothing to th disc.

I just unpluged the psu cable from the motherboard and pluged it again.

i didnt do any hardware changes.

Now with the chip on gives me error 16, with the chip off gives me the 06 error.

Cannot unlock hdd.

Please help?

does the samething happen when you swtich banks?
try another unlocked hdd if you have one

error 16 is clock
boot to stock m$dash and set the clock
it happens when you have left the xbox powered off for some time, you get this, its due to the fact that it has NO BATTERY on the mobo like the ps2 does

and the 06 is unlocked drive, you left it unlocked for some reason lol

No, 5 is unlocked drive, 6 is unable to unlock drive.
