Error 2168-0002 when installing nsp files and cycling through games.

I'm constantly getting error 2168-0002 show up while I'm trying to install nsp files or cycling through my games on my hard drive.

I've removed all xci and nsp files from the sd card. I've reformatted the sd card. I've even factory reset my switch and it still crashed with error 2168-0002! Please help. I really don't want to buy a new switch. Sxos2.4 ofw6.2

If you are using an external hard drive to store all you games, the issue is there and most likely not your switch or SD card. You probably have a corrupt game file on the drive if that's the case. If you do not have the hard drive plugged in does it work?

I came across a similar problem, and I believe it might be something to do with SXOS not moving the selector after an NSP has been deleted; I've highlighted an explanation in this thread:
