error 2254-0006

Hi,

i just installed my new sx pro on an switch that has never been updated. it still on firmware 1.0

i put the latest sx os beta.

After select boot custom firmware, console reboot on nintendo menu and 3-4 seconds after , i have a crash message with code error 2254-0006

what does it mean ?

i can't use anything

have you tried redownloading the boot.dat ?
are you using 2.5(.1)? if so, try the latest STABLE release 2.0.1
also you might wanna check your mSD for corruption with cmd>chkdsk (windows), or just back up your mSD to your pc and reformat it to fat32 (if using windows dont do quick format)
if you manage to boot id reccomend updating your switch using ChoiDujourNX (https://team-xecuter.com/community/...ned-nintendo-switch-with-choidujournx.128170/) so you can play any games u wanna play without loosing the option to downgrade your switch to 1.0.0 (real downgrade not a fake one (efuses burnt == sysFW))

after made different tests, with stable firmware all is ok.

i have reformated sd card to fat 32. sd card is a brand new just opened this morning.

with firmware 2.5.1, i have code error 2254-0006 after 3-4 seconds
with firmware 2.5.0, i have code error 2051-0006 after 3-4 seconds
with firmware 2.4.1, i have code error 2162-0002 but only when i click on photo album button
with firmware 2.4.0, i have code error 2162-0002 but only when i click on photo album button
with firmware 2.3.0, i have code error 2162-0002 but only when i click on photo album button
with firmware 2.2.1, i have code error 2162-0002 but only when i click on photo album button
With firmware 2.2.0, it works

so i think firmware 1.0 of my switch doesn t help for newer cfw.

i ll try with choixdujournx to see if there is some change

yeah use 2.2.0 and update with ChD-NX
make sure you dont burn fuses at last step (enable "Prevent fuse burning (enable AutoRCM)" )
(look at the left side of the linked pic it HAS TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME (little check sign left to "Prevent fuse burning (enable AutoRCM)" )

with Firmware 2.1 of my switch,

with firmware 2.5.1, i have code error 2254-0006 after 3-4 seconds
with firmware 2.5.0, i have code error 2051-0006 after 3-4 seconds
with firmware 2.4.1, it works
with firmware 2.4.0, it works
with firmware 2.3.0, it works
with firmware 2.2.1, it works
With firmware 2.2.0, it works

with Firmware 6.1 of my switch,

all firmware are ok

conclusion-----> it needs minimum update to be fonctionnal.
