In my house (Somerset) UK
I have jtagged sevral xenon consoles in the last few weeks, and yesterday i got error 250 for the first time, whilest using the nandx.
I have read some other threads saying that a few of these errors is not to bad, but I keep getting 10 in the same place. I have read the nand 4 times and re-checked my soldering points. But I still get these 10 error 250's in the same place.
Im not sure whether to carry on and install xell and freebot or to remap the bad blocks.

Any help would be great.

250 is bad a bad block and if you got them in the same place in your all dumps then that's ok and you should proceed ahead with installing xell. In general my experience with xenons I never needed to remap any bad blocks so far, so my recommendation is to go ahead and proceed with remapping. If not working after that then you can remap the blocks.

Let us know how it goes ...

Just to mention, if you need a remap then you compile freeboot and then remap it after it's been compiled. There is no need to remap the original NAND dump.

It makes sense to me, the problem might be similar but they might be completely different or there might be different way of treating it.
