Anyone help me. Every hard boot avalauch looks for an update, downloads it and cannot install it. I get an error I think it's error 404?

I'm not sure where avalaunch is installed ( I had someone else do it)
x, and Y are clear with 749MB free
z has some files totalling 1MB, with 748free

2 things:
1 Clear out Z.
2 Download the latest avalaunch.xbe and run this. There are still updates to be gotten so try updating afterwards.

It did that when I upgraded to that stupid Christmas version. What a pain in the ass.
I had to reload the files from backup to get rid of it.

Mine just started doing this a couple of days ago. Do I have to go back to my initial stuff and reFTP everything? THat would be gay. And does the error occur when you go to "update Avalaunch", then it says there are new updates, but when you click on them, it says, "Downloading Update", then "Error 404:Object not Found)?
