Error #5 after X3 BIOS Install

I just placed an X3CE mod on my V1.0 yesterday. It seemed to work fine, with blue lights etc. I flashed it today with X3 BIOS Build 3924. Now all of a sudden I get Error #5. I have held down the white button on my controller and nothing. I admit I may have made a foolish mistake. I have spent 3 weeks reading all I could, but screwed up I think by using the X3CP I had the the buttons out when I flashed which I assumed was off. I think I was supposed to flash to the 1MB BANK, but may have flashed to the 2MB bank. I screwed up! Can anyone help me out of this mess?

sounds like it's not booting from your chip anymore. Error 5 is generated by the MSDASH and means that your hard drive is not locked. Check your D0 connection. Also try booting to the backup bios by holding power and eject and see if it goes to flashbios?

Thanks. I will try both suggestions now. I also note that SOMETIMES when I hold the white contoller button it boots with a green eject light but no video. I do get sound but most times I get no video. I will check pin 13, & 14 as well. I read somwhere that may be the no video culprit. Any more suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I have great faith in the X3 product, and know I can trouble shoot my way out of this mess, I caused.

After much Trial & Error due to the blank screen, I have locked my hard-drive, reflashed to the right bank, and the computer loads fine in regular mode. When I go to load the X3 chip, I get a blank screen. When I load regular, I get video fine. Thanks for your suggestions. Anymore for the new problem?
