Hey,
I installed the X3 fine, it worked. New hd, it worked. Now, I hit the cd drive, took the xbox apart and fixed it. I keep getting erro 9. What's up?

Re: x-clamp error code 0102

well you probably didn't get the gpu chip hot enough with the heat gun.

but if you get it too hot you will damage the chip.

Re: x-clamp error code 0102

try different amounts of washers on the bolts has this can effect it i followed the xclamp fix on llama.com but after the fix it was still flashing lights so i removed 1 washer from each screw on top of the mobo and tried again
this time green lights and and has been running flawlessly since

Re: x-clamp error code 0102

ive had great success with the xecuter rrod kit. even stubborn boxes have come back with this and the extra heatsinks have helped with the overheating loads.

Try losing the spring washers... and using very little paste... Just a rice grain on the CPU(LEFT) and a little more for the GPU

and dont tighten too much!
