What did you rename the folder too?
I just deleted the entire folder! Try to delete it - if you are scared to delete it - just move it to HDD for backup!
I don't know whats wrong with mine, it wouldn't delete the folder, it kept saying files had been moved and to locate them before deletion could go ahead. Copy of SD contents to ex HDD minus the Autoloader folder, format the SD to exFat and start again, transfer everything back to SD, and it still gives me this boot error. And I haven't even got Autoloader on my SD.
Sometimes that happens when I update the fimrware - just start the switch normal on OF...power it off and then try again with the jig and the dongle.... if that dont help try to charge the dongle a bit with USB cable...sometimes the dongle dont charge from the pluging in only
Well, that's what I'm doing and nothing. I charged the switch for half an hour and that's good for one boot. After that, it does the same thing. This is the first time this has happened to my switch. It started happening when I updated to SX OS 2.9.3.
Yeah same error. Reading around I found the solution was to just delete the sxos folder entirely, just leaving the license and boot.dat on the SD and now it boots fine. If it causes any problems further down the line, I have a full copy of my SD on file now, anyway. Put Autoloader back on and it now boots fine but Autoloader still doesn't work, still gives me the insert card error.
When I updated, my switch also was not turning on. So I did what I am suggesting below:
