Error Code 13

Hi!
I have an elusive error code 13 problem.

I have a 1.6 xbox with smartxx LT OPX and i use x2_5035.

It started with me changing the "doStartupAnimation"
in the x2config.ini from 1 to 0, after i got the error I
changed it back, without success.

I am aware that Error Code 13 is a dashboard problem so
I have tried changing between 4 different ones
without success (all 4 was working before).

I have also used 2 different ftp clients with in modes
auto, ASCII and Binary, to transfer the x2config file
and the dashboard files.

So, anyone got more ideas?

error 13 is a msdashboard error, get hold of the slayers disk and restore all msdashboard files.

Ok, now i have deleated all files on C: and on E: and restored the working installation
that i got with the xbox from the store.
But the problem is still there and only when i use the x2_5035 bios, if i switch
to EvoX, my dash boots perfectly (except it can't find F, thats why i want to use X2).
Crashes directly after showing the "Loading xecuter live config..."

Have you set the boot path up in Config Live?
Where have you got your dash located, C or E?

Have you formatted the F drive?
What Dash are you using when booting from Evox Bios? I presume Evox if you rebuilt with Slayers, Have you enabled F in the EVOX ini file?
Have you got a 10 gig or 8 gig Drive, if its 8 then you will not get F no matter what you try.

Hello Dreamreaper.
No i did not change the path in config live, rather than change in there
i renamed the dashboards to evoxdash.xbe (witch was working before)
but i checked in the .ini so that it would boot.

The evoxdash.xbe is on C as it says that it should be in the config
and it was there before when it was working too.
I have a extra 200gb that i was using as F where i put all my stuff
before the error, it was working then, now i have formatted it from
the pre-bios-boot menu you have in Smartxx LT OPX, but when
i try flashing any of the bioses from the Auto Installer Deluxe 2.11
(the EvoX m8/m8+ ones, with and without 137gb F) i can't see it in
EvoXdash and in XBMC i only find a F drive with 0.1kb free space
and an empty folder named "voh".. (F is enabled in evox.ini btw)
And when i flash with the 5035 bios and replace the x2config.ini
(the exact same setup i used before the crash) i still get the
"error code 13"

I have never used Smartxx LT OPX so you may have to bear with me.

Ok you have loaded the X2_5035V16, are you using the INI that came with the bios, dependent on what you have there were changes to the INI in regards to typos:

dash2Name = C:evoxdash.xbe​

should be

dash2Name = c:evoxdash.xbe
Note the lowercase. Could be the reason for your error 13????? I say this because it then defaults to the MS dash and as you renamed it?
Have you patched the bios for LBA support?

My advice would be to dload the bios from XBINS again, patch the bios. Or try an earlier version X2_5032, do not mix up the INI files.

Use slayers to rebuild the drives again and post back.
