Alright. Everything went fine with the flash. yay. all hell broke less soon after. I backed up the Eeprom on the chip, backed up the C and E drives and put in a new 120 GB hard drive. I then pulled the eeprom back as well as the C and E drive and tried to go to the M$ dash, and got the Error code 13. WTF? so I put on a dash(avalaunch), and tried to boot to it, still that damn error code. IT WONT LEAVE ME ALONE! how do i fix this? Like i said, ive tried everything ive seen here, and you I cant run slayers because this DVD rom sux.

Try using the slayers auto installer disk and do a full rebuild. im betting you messed up *dash.xle
Never Done It Before
This is my first time actually going in depth with hacking/modding my 360 and honestly, I can not find a single guide or tutorial that explains exactly what I need to do to do this.
As far as I have gotten is this guide: What DVD Drive do you have?
I have determined that I do have a BenQ DVD Drive from the white wires in the hole.
All I am looking for is a little guidance. Here are the specs on my 360 to see if this helps:
Under System Info: D:2.0.9199.0 - K:2.0.9199.0 (BK:2.0.1888.0) (E:0) X:8B48-7151-BAB3-12F8
On the back of the console:
MFG Date: 2-13-2008
I am looking to use the hotswap method or another free method that will not ban me from XBL, but will let me do the features described here: The Different Ways to Mod Your 360
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

as stated above use the jf tutorial i will guide you from start to finish.
also there is no way from being safe from a xbl ban
its the risk you take
if you dont want a ban DONT flash the console
but if you decide to flash the drive always use upto date fw and
always use abgx360 to patch and verify your backups

Honestly, the only reason I use XBL is to stream my HD .mkv movies from my computer, so that's why I don't want to get banned from XBL AND Halo: Reach. Ha :]
