Hey guys plz dont flame me I read the read first before you post and the lets fix your box guide along with the error codes.
Im getting the error code 16. The evox guide for that code says:
" Error Code 16
Error: Other files related with the dashboard or dashboard
Settings (specific dashboard error)
Solution: Renew your dashboard (the one it wanted to start"
Ok what does it mean by RENEW?, Format and reinstall the original dashboard ( ms Dash) or format reinstall any dashboard? I read another post stating that code 16 was a problem with the system clock. Also in that post it said the M8 bios would bypass that. Well I used my programmer to program all 4 banks with the M8 bios comes up with the Evo X loggo at boot sits a few and goes back to error code 16. I tried booting with a boot dish and with an original game. Changed out the DVD drive to make sure mine wasnt bad. I put that same HD in another xbox and it boots just fine.
