Error Message "ERASE FAILED"

I was trying to flash my x3 chip and i got this error.
Has anyone else got that and what can it mean?
The flash protection is off.
This happens when i try flash bank 5.
I flash M8Plus.bin onto bank 6 and tried to flash an x2 bios on to bank 5 but I get erase failed.
Does that mean the bank area is corrupt?
Is there anyway of erasing it for a reflash?

Why are u flashing an x2 bios to an x3...they work but will not have allow the X3 features .

You need to get 2913 for the x3... extract it from the rar and flash the version for you r board..
Flash it to the first 1M bank (on,on,off,off,off)
