I seem to get this error when i try to 'flash' my xbox 360. Ok, so i start raw dump then i get this message after this saved.

"The data dumped does not match its own checksum (you can try dumping again) Do you want to accept this dump?"

I have tried this about 8 times, i get the same key over n over, im not sure what is wrong though.. any thoughts? should i go ahead with this? is there a chance of briking?

edit - i have "intel(R) 82801GR/GH sata raid controller

yeah that doesn't work, It would be helpful to know what drive you have and what you are flashing with. But most likely you need a SATA card like the VIAVT6421A from www.newegg.com.

I had the same problem. Textbook answered the question for me. I was using a SIL sata instead of a VIA sata. I'm pretty sure that you'll need to purchase a new card.
