Hello all, I've been using my pc to backup my games using 0800 drive which I do via sata etc, but i noticed my laptop which is a X70s asus and that has a Esata on side, it is an Intel T5550 but when i connect my drive via a Esata to sata cable and use a PSU which i've modded to power drive, my pc picks the Drive up right away but laptop doesn't.. anything i can Do to try? Do i need un-install some driver's? I've set sata to IDE on bios

can you elaborate on what you are trying to do?

i'm not sure if you are just trying to use the eSATA for ripping, or if you are trying to flash the drive via eSATA

for the former, i would suggest restarting the CPU while the drive is connected and powered, or doing a scan in device manager

for the latter, eSATA can't flash drives in Jungleflasher
