everything seems fine but?

but there is one thing niggling me when i turn xbox on with modchip enabled it flashes orange for a second(eject button light) and then the light goes green,with the mod off it stays green ,is this normal or could i have done something wrong during installing the modchip?

i have a 1.1 xbox with executer 2.6ce chip flashed with 5032 bios and evox dashboard everything seems fine even managed to put a game on the hard drive (XBOX ISO Transfer is a great programme to ftp with)

if everything works fine then i wouldn't worry too much about a one second orange flash

i wouldn't worry bout it.
it could be an option chosed for the bios.
your bios might have orange led as it's default but when the dashboard loads (green as default) it overides the bios led preference.
when you play a game, is the eject orange?


either way, if this is not the case, it's prob not a big deal. as long as it works
for however limited time it will be
