Everything seems to work, except it doesnt...

I installed my x2.6 into my xbox using the standoff method. All leds work, the blue one lights up, turns off if i switch the switch to off. Protect on is green, protect off is amber. bank1 is 1 green bank2 is 2 green.
All this works, excpet my xbox still boots to the msft dash with hd connected, or error 7 without harddrive connected.
I have version 1.0 xbox (with fan on northbridge)
Is there any step that i'm missing?

alright, i figured out that i somehow lost the d0 wire....
what does the d0 wire look like and is it possible for me to finish this mod without that wire?

The D0 is what tells the Xbox to boot from the LPC and not the onboard bios, so yes it is needed. If you don't plan on turning off your chip, you could just ground the D0 point. As for which pin is the D0 point, I believe it is pin #1. At least according to this picture.
