I got my Executer 3 chip installed on my VER 1.0 xbox, a 200 gig drive (WEstern Digital), and Avalaunch.

Before i modded all controllers worked. Now the # 2 controller port will not work. Ive looked at the wires, and moved them around while it is on to see if the controller appears BUT NO LUCK!!! PLease help.

Everything works fine though. Games load, Dashboard, ect, ect, I can backup my games... but for some reason...No controller two. I tried several controllers as well.

If it could be the daughterboard, where can I get a replacement? Will Team Executer Send me a new one since I just recieved my chip?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated...

Kev

SO now I took the controller port connecter from 3-4

and connected it to 1-2 connector port. STILL controller 2 will not work. Does that mean the daughterboard? How would this happen? is it expensive? Please help!!

13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

Ok first thing is first...dude dont post your first sentance as the topic of ur posts. It makes it hard to read....
With that said on to the problems

I am pretty sure that you are just having daughter board issues. Make sure that the board that the controller port wires plug into is pushed into the board good. Dont push too hard so you dont break it. If you cant seem to get it to work you can always buy one here http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=72

Second, how did you install your dash?? Was it just through FTP or did you use an install disk. Your best bet is to get an install disk like slayers and choose rebuild M$ dash. If you dont wanna download an install disk you could always put your old hard drive back in, ftp the contents of c back to your computer...then ftp them back over to your new hard drive. Slayers is easier though I think

Is it possible to connect ports 3&4 to the 1&2 connection on the motherboard to confirm it is a fault with the controller ports and not the motherboard. Make sure no pins are bent on the connection on the mainboard if the symptons are the same.
