Ok, I have now got evox running great everything is working. I have one last request. I would like to know how to force my xbox to launch straight to the evox dash and not the xecuter3 dash. I have tried to mess with the quick launch but nothing seems to happen, it always launches to the xecuter dash. Also my friend’s xbox has evox on it and when he goes into an apps program or a game he can push in on both triggers and both tago sticks at the same time which takes him back to the evox menu. I have to pull on the triggers, clear button, and black button and it take me all the way back to the xecuter menu. I know it is an easy fix I just can’t figure it out. Thanks for the help!!!

go into x3cl and disable autostart. to get back to the x3cl screen hold down the white button on startup.

also make sure to set the dashboard preferences, such as drive priority and dashboard names and boot order ect......

Im goign to play stupid and say that i dont know what you mean by the "x3cl". I have gone into the X3 dashboard and do not see any option to turn the auto launch off. I all can find is to tell it which dashboard to auto launch to and in that same screen it tells you something about pulling the trigers and holding the clear button.

go into the x3cl (x3 dash as you call it) and highlight customize x3 bios and hit A and you should see enable autostart, highlight it and hit A. this will let you boot to a dashboard without loading x3cl. to get back to the x3cl screen hold the white button down on restart.

Disk drive makes strange noise, help?

I recently modded my 360 and made a few backup games. Everything works great, however often times while playing a game i can hear the disk drive speeding up to read the game faster then it makes the strange noise. It also causes gameplay to freeze for like 2 seconds. I think what is causing it is possibly when the disk drive starts speeding up the "disk spinner" (not sure of the real name...the piece in the middle of the disk drive that spins the disk) spins too fast and loses grip on the disk causing that noise and it to freeze for a short time. Are their methods to stop this from happening besides just installing the games to harddrive and play the games from my harddrive? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Disk drive makes strange noise, help?

I'm not no expert but sounds like the drive is done for. Spoof that drive for another drive and that should work or maybe the dvd discs are corrupt? Did you try cleaning the drive?
