I just installed an xecuter 3 in a 1.6 xbox and flashed it with the bios. Now i would like to install evox as my xbox. How do u do this and are you able to copy games onto ur harddrive though evox or not?

i recomend you get unleashx or avalaunch as your main dash. Good thing about unleashx is that it has its own disc ripper built in. Or you could use dvd2xbox to backup games/movies or anythin else.

...what must of dozed off, get unleashx rather than evox as its a much more advanced menu allowing you to copy and play games

xbmc is the win. i use it as my dash. it does everything. except proper dvd playing, and dvdx2 can handle that.

xbmc plays the .vob files in dvd's but it anoying to switch files in the middle of a movie. dvdx2 i dont think plays dvd's from hdd though..

dvdx2 supports menus etc tho, which is always nice... When [using XBMC to play the DVD] I put a dvd in (family guy dvds are a shaining example of this - where it is the case that only the pre-menu animation is played) and only chapter one is played, then it returns to XBMC.... (so on my I, Robot dvd the first trailer is played...!)

yea, you have to go through the .vob files. make sure "stacking" is turned off.

ah! so true!! never thought of that, lol *feels dumb*. does simple stacking suffice? or we need fuzzy?

I've been 4 days without my xbox i nearly bought a second xbox yesterday, i cant handle this...

make sure for stacking it says "none". I wish there was a way for xbmc to just play the whole damn dvd through though.
