excuter 2.6 starting up on m$ dash

Ok lol i just installed my modchip and all went well but my xbox still starts up in the normal m$ dash it dosent frag my hard drive led and lan led all work well but it starts up like a nomral un moded xbox both banks do the samething lol and es i do have the modchip turned on inless there is a little swith on the modchip lol can any one help. version 1.0 xbox. Im not sure if its spose to do that but i thought it had a cromwell bios in it like to lock and unlock the hard drive and stuff.

there is an on/off switch on the 2.6's switch board which is the board which has the switch for the banks and write protection as well. if you have it turned on on this board and its still not recognizing your chip check your d0 solder point. Sounds like you don't have a good connection there so it isn't sending the signal to boot from the LPC.

ok il retry the d0 point im useing a pin header so that part should be alright but ill check the d0 point.

Ok i resolderd the D0 point still no luck how exactly doed it have to be solderd im just like putting some solder ont he point then soldering the wire on it must be the d0 wire inledd my chip is not flashed with a bios witch would really suck i baught my chip from modchip.ca and i heard there i good store so i dought there bing no bios would be the problem but if any one has any other suggestion please tell me im going to try soldering the d0 point agean.

I got it i just turned my xbox on and off an it finally botted from my chip and after that it was smooth sailing i flashed it with a new bios and but slayers evox in its awsome i love modded xboxes now!
