Hi all,

Purchased an executer 2.6 ce for my 1.2/1.3 xbox. Initially used the xapt3r wireless adapter resulting in consistant frag. Could not get the copper pins into the board so suspected good contact was not being made. Only one sucessful boot to bios with chip enabled and pushing down on executer board.

Soldered terminal strip onto board, soldered do, led & lan.

Powered unit with chip enabled turns off/on 2x & frags. Removed board to confirm wires on correct terminals all looks good.

re-installed board same situation when enabled - boots fine in off mode.

pulled board to confirm wiring, reinstalled serveral times with same result.

Checked continuity on harness to switches all wires check out fine.

Read a post discussing voltages read from terminals on back of executer board.. the following are mu readings. I am not sure what terminal numbers should be, my readings are from underside, left side on left of post and right side on right of post starting at top being the terminals closest to the back of the unit.

Chip enable
0 3.2
3.3 3.3
.05 3.3
.15 3.3
3.3 3.3
5.1 0
.02 3.6
.04 0

Chip turned off
0 0
3.3 3.3
.22 3.3
.15 3.3
3.3 3.3
5.07 0
5.07 .18
0 1.6

All readings taken from terminal to a ground screw.

Can someone please confirm i have taken readings properly and advise possible rectification.

The soldered connections all appear to make good contact with the board.

I read a post that suggests the best way to confirm connections are correct is to power unit after soldering is complete with dvd & hd disconnected. Unit should boot up into pre loaded bios with chip enabled and with factory boot with chip disabled.

Disabled works fine enabled does not.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Thanks again

Checked voltage on the pins, am finding some variences form the posted values that should be found.
readings are as follows
pin1 .02v
pin2 .04v
pin3 2.9v
pin5 0v
pin6 5.1v
pin7 3.29v
pin8 3.29
pin9 3.3v
pin10 .14v
pin11 3.29v
pin12 0v

Pins 5 & 10 appear to have trouble pin5 has 0 and should be 3.3 while pin 10 has .14v and should be 3.3.

Can someone advise a possible solution?

system Frag

Checked soldering all pins have great colder penetration to board.
Voltage continues to be problem on pins 5 & 10.
Chip disabled boots fine, enabled frag every time.
All pins are equal heights from board.
I running out of options here. The board has been out and back in about twenty times.
I've confirmed all wiring is in correct spots for the version.
What am i missing?
