Hello!

Excuse the noob question, but I've been looking an answer to this, and if someone can steer me in the right direction, that would be hugely appreciated.
I Have a modded Switch with Sx Pro running the latest beta. At this stage my 128g microsd is formatted to fat32, and my official Switch firmware is 5.1.0. To have Exfat compatibility, am i to upgrade the official firmware to the latest, and will this effect my SX Pro setup?
Again, apologies for the noob question -

From what I have read on this forum, if you are able to load SXOS than updating to the newest Switch firmware should not effect anything. There are a bunch of people on here who I have seen say they are using the newest firmware and that there is really no reason not to update. I am actually still on 5.1.0 myself and unless SXOS requires the newer firmware or I need it to play newer games, I will probably just leave it as is. Hopefully someone else can chime in though with more info.

I was on OFW 5.1.0 and then updated to the latest 6.1.0 following the guide on this forum. I didn't have a reason to do it, but some games would require you to be on the latest OFW. I wanted to avoid any kind of trouble in the future so I just updated. If you don't have any problem and don't have a reason to update than stay on the FW you already have and enjoy!
