exFAT support?

Hi, i am planning buy SX OS, I know about bad driver for exFAT by Nintendo, and you can get "corrupted data" by just pressing home button.
Is it actual info? Or it's complete safe to format sdcard to exfat for now?

exFAT is safe, and there are no data loss in several forums I am concerned about.
