just use this and set game paths to your external hdd.

2 diffident ways to convert add games .

1. just extract them and copy to extHDD:\Games\Game Name\

2. you can convert them to GOD format using ISO2GOD and copy to extHDD\Data\Contect\0000000000000000\

those paths are just for example you can set paths to wherever you like .. just make sure you're set FSD's Path to your Game locations !

Hope this helps !

I was just wondering if people were using Ext-HDD's that power of the USB or have there own power supply? and if thy have there own power supply are you just turning the Ext-HDD on & off with the xbox? I know it's not a big deal just wondering how people were using them and what the best drive would be to get, I keep my controller by my recliner and turn the xbox on & off with the controller and thought if I use a HDD with external power adapter I might make a relay to turn the HDD on & off with the xbox, just a thought
Thanks

there are two types of an external hdd !

1. with power one HDD and a usb connector ,small one !

2.with out power ,one HDD ,one usb connector and one adapter for power the drive , big one !

I recommended you the 1st one without power means extra power supply !

get a usb powered one, partition it into 2, format one with fatx for xbox games and one with fat32 for emulators and roms with more then 16 characters.

I personally use 2 internal ones for my dual nand and switch them over.
and I have a tiny 8gb usb in one of the back usbs for anything that needs fat32
