External bios bank

I have bent the pins in the external bios bank but i took the plastic top off the connector and straightened them back out. When i plug my xbox in it auto powers on and the external X light doens't light up blue, purple, nothing. Since i have v1.6 i think this is my problem. All the pins are getting the correct voltages. My problems (i think) are:

1. Auto turn on when power is connected and modchip is installed (FRAG)

2. External X doesn't light up.

plz, any help. I am about to give up...this is taking up WAY too much time.

i would take out the power/eject dauterboard and see it it still auto powers on.

BenQ VAd6038 Xbox360 drive firmware flash problem!

Hi! First i must say that my english is very very bad but, i hope some one can help me!

okay, my problem is this:

I trying to flash my xbox 360 with BenQ vad6038 drive with Jungleflasher 1.62.
i have tried newest Jungle flasher too!
When i try to get vendor info out of the drive it just give error.. that it cant get vendor ID or something like that. i have flashed some other drivers before but they all was hitachi and newer used any "chip" or "connectivity kit" to flash them..
When i flashed Hitachi drives i just connected my Sata cable to xbox drive and left the power cable to xbox360 and started xbox360 then continued with Jungleflasher..

I have checked many many videos from youtube how to flash BenQ VAD6039 drive and all of people had the connectivity kit adapter.. or W/a what thas small "chip" they used it to power up the drive.

PLZZ! Help me with this problem! i have bought MANY MANY games and wasted much of money to them.. Some old games DVD is very poor now some times xbox can't read them of the poor quality. that is the reason why i want to do back-up's of them wanna play
oldskool game's.



and btw i have tried "HALF OPEN" trick to my drive.. doesn't helped me out!

So in simpy my question is: IS connectivity kit compulsory to mod BenQ vad6038 xbox360 drive?

1) use the newest jungleflasher 1.75, compatible with ixtreme LT 1.2 for benq

2) you can use the xbox for powering the drive, just plug the dvd drive into the xbox power and computer SATA

press benq unlock and then read and write your drive!

I would suggest using iprep for this benq drive. when you send the vendor mode are you pulling the power from the benq to set the tray half way and not turning the xbox off then back on?
