Hi, I hope i'm in the right area to ask this.

I have been running atmosphere for a week now, but now I have a collection of games and a SD card isn't big enough I was reading that SX OS will run xci files off a external hard drive.
So now looking at getting a licence but just had a couple of questions.

With running an xci game file off a hard drive, how does it work with installing updates for the game?
How do you update the game and can you just use app like tinfoil to do it?
Can you only run xci or can it run nsp files too?

You can just install the updates using the album installer or SX Installer, donno about tinfoil and other installers
It is only possible to run xci games from HDD

@Hackerjac Thanks for the reply.
So I would have to get the patches and DLC from other means and use the SX installer or Album installer. Sounds easy.
Do the patch files have to be xci or can be nsp too?
When patching a game with multiple patches, do I have to install all of them or can I go to the latest one?

DLC and Updates are in nsp format when dumping them from your console
You only need to install latest update
