Hello everyone,

I have an issue. I bought SX OS mainly because I could use an external drive to have all my games available whenever I wanted to play docked and I was able to do so until SX OS 2.7 was released. That update, as it can be found ok the Internet, started to make the OS crash when plugging some HDD drives.

I asked on Discord about this and I was told that it wasn't an SX OS issue but that, probably, my exfat file system was corrupted. As it was a large drive I just stopped using it.

Finally, I got tired of having to move everything I wanted to play to the SD card and yesterday I spent 12 hours copying everything to several drives, reformatted the drive on exfat, and copied all the XCI again. Now the OS doesn't crash but it's not detected at all, this drive works fine when I plug it to any other devices.

I'm running out of ideas of what to do here, this was a drive that didn't gave me any issues before updating to SX OS 2.7. Could it be that SX OS doesn't support it anymore? What could be happening here?

Thanks

Edit: I'm using the latest SX OS beta version now on Firmware 9.2.

Edit 2: I moved the HDD drive from a USB C case to a USB 3.0 case and it's not detected too.

Have you tried SX 2.9.5?
Are you using the dock or connecting direct to the Switch?
Is the drive self powered or does it have it's own power?
