External HDD Setup

I did not format the hdd with my xbox, i formatted it with my computer. I've been fooling around with it and noticed that changes made on one is not reflected in the other. Such as, if i create a folder in FSD, that folder will not show up on my computer. If i create a folder on my computer, that folder does not show up on FSD. However, if i put something on my HDD from my computer, the taken up space will be reflected on FSD. But if i place files from FSD, they will not show on my computer. This does not make sense at all and is very frustrating. I took some pictures to help others picture my situation

The Drive amount does not appear to be correct after the format.

My guess is that you have an extra bit partitioned off but not assigned a drive letter.

I would check the Hard disk through "Disk Management" and not what is showing in Windows / My Computer.

Click start \ Right Click on Computer / Mycomputer

Select "manage" and drill down to disk management within the mmc. (Management Console).

Check the appropriate disk and make sure it's one continuous block and not "partitioned" without a drive letter.

if i format a usb hdd to fat 32 and added the games do i have to use a loader like xex menu to launch the or can i use the hacked ms dash. i wanted my games to show up under my games libary like the god games on my hdd. also could i format the usb hdd to fat32 then under system settings format it a gain so it would be in the same layout as the hdd with partation 1,2, and 3?
